DESIGNER STATEMENT

     Our society is currently one of consumerist values, where we are constantly indulging in various resources, technology, and media. At their core, artists must have an overwhelming desire to create; to give back to the world in the form of beauty and expression as a way of replacing what was used with something new and unique. Designers employ this creative, intuitive practice to solve problems and methodically form a universal language.

     Creation is an intrinsic value to me, and my goal as an artist and designer is to help people, express myself, and give back to the world that has allowed me to pursue my greatest passion. I am well-versed in drawing, painting, and sculpture, and I combine physical and digital media to achieve a balance between the integrity of hand-crafted work and the advanced use of technology that has been developed. I strive to create work that combines intuitive, expressive, yet calculated techniques in order to communicate, teach, innovate, and help others.
